Chua Chiew Peng
Chiew Peng, is affectionately called CP, received Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour in 1985. God has shown Himself to be faithful and true in all the seasons of her life. Therefore she sees it as a joy and privilege for CP to be able to partner with God in His kingdom work. She is excited and looks forward to all that God has in store for CCBC in this season. CP is happily married to Jabez and has two adult sons.
Sally, a believer in Christ since 1982, was a disciple under sister Eng Bee when she started attending church in TSBC. She has been married to Kok Beng for over 25 years and the couple are now worshipping and serving in CCBC. Together, they have brought up a daughter, Isabel who is now a working adult. Sally has always experienced God’s grace and mercy in her many years as a child of God. When in doubt, she would take comfort in her favourite verse: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV”

As deacon and chairman, Chua provides additional insights from church life experiences to the team. He lives by the adage, “Early to bed, early to rise…”
Daniel was raised in a traditional Christian family but started questioning his faith and the book (Bible) which served the foundation of his faith during his tertiary years. At the end of his pursuit for scientific justification and evidence for the validity of his faith, Daniel found the revelation of a confounding but consistent and gracious yet uncompromising Holy God whose kindness and grace did not give up on him but patiently and relentlessly pursued him past his stubbornness and pride until he finally acknowledged as Thomas did, ‘My Lord and my God’. Daniel hopes to walk with others on a similar journey and share in their doubts and questions along the way.
Alex received Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour in 1981. He was baptised on 2 Sep 1990 and worshipped at CCBC since then. He works in a Senior Management role for a global technology and engineering business establishment. He enjoys golf and family holidays.
