Staff and Leaders
Pastor Gary, as affectionately known by our CCBC parishioners, came to know the Lord in November 1979 through the passage in Mark 10:17-25 and the witness of his wife, May. Both are contentedly married over 20 years. He frequently cycles along the Punggol-Serangoon National Park Connectors and enjoys very, very long walks at nature parks.
Being one of the founding members of CCBC, Pastor Gary has been associated with the church since 1990. He left Singapore in July 1996 to 1999 to pursue his Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary, and later his PhD at Biola University from 2005 to 2007.
Upon his return in late 2007, he was called to serve as Advisory Pastor at CCBC in April 2008, and subsequently as their Senior Pastor from 2013 to the present time. Aside from being a pastor at CCBC, Gary has been teaching part time at the Baptist Theological Seminary since late 2007. He lectures at Baptist Theological Seminary in Preaching, Leadership, Pastoral Ministry and the Old Testament.
He has a PhD in Educational Studies from Biola University, a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas. Yuen-Cheong Mee Ling
Mee Ling received Jesus as personal Lord and Saviour in 1977 as a teenager. She transferred her membership to CCBC in 1985 to join her husband. They have been worshipping and serving together in CCBC since then. They have 2 grown up children. Mee Ling is grateful to God for His continuous work of grace in her life through His Word. She endeavours to live by the Lord’s command in Matthew 22:37 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
Sally, a believer in Christ since 1982, was a disciple under sister Eng Bee when she started attending church in TSBC. She has been married to Kok Beng for over 25 years and the couple are now worshipping and serving in CCBC. Together, they have brought up a daughter, Isabel who is now a working adult. Sally has always experienced God’s grace and mercy in her many years as a child of God. When in doubt, she would take comfort in her favourite verse: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NIV”
Church Executive Board

David enjoys playing music, and serving as a worship leader and keyboardist at CCBC. Even though he enjoys listening to and singing contemporary worship songs, his favourite Christian song is the hymn “Be Thou My Vision”.
Wei Qiang came to know Christ in 2002 through an evangelical outreach event held by CCBC and has been worshiping here ever since. He is working as an design engineer and enjoy outdoor activities, all kind of sports and a good cup of coffee anytime. He always look upon the verse “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” from Philippians 4:19 for encouragement.
