Friendship Christian Student Care

About FCSC

FCSC began in 1993 and founded by Mr. Richard Tan and has since continued in its current location in Bishan, albeit under a different name initially.

In January 2014, CCBC adopted FCSC with the objective of providing community services to the Bishan and nearby communities.

Besides providing financial assistance in the centre’s operations, it also provides dedicated voluntary members in helping students in their character development and building friendship with them and their families.

FCSC has attained an approved voluntary welfare organisation (VWO) status which provides Before and After School Care” as its core business, and enrolled students of the age group of Primary 1 to 6. A VWO is a non-profit organisation that provides welfare services and/or services that benefit the community at large.

FCSC is located at Block 213, Bishan Street 23, #B1-235 (bomb shelter). Tel: 6451 4624.

Programme Offered by FCSC

The centre offers a conducive learning environment for students where it provides an avenue for them to complete their school homework under supervision. It also helps the students in their character development. One-to-one tuition is also made available to the students.

Assistance Provided by FCSC

One of the key strengths of FCSC is providing assistance to parents of eligible students to apply for the Student Care Financial Assistance from the government.

The subsidy can vary from 20% to 98%.
